The MDI 2 adds enhanced connectivity, plug-and-play setup, operation during engine cranking, extended temperature range, rugged design and many additional improvements. MDI 2 is a communications device that manages the transfer of data between a GM vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU) network and a personal computer.
